'Monmouth' demonstrates very high EFB tolerance (through quantitative resistance), moderately vigorous with a slightly spreading growth habit. Comes in a 2 gallon pot, plant is 1-3ft.

Nuts: Medium (12-14mm), round, and ~52% kernel by weight
Bloom time: Early in NJ; sometimes as early as late December! Due to this, Rutgers University has begun recommending this tree as a pollinizer more than a production tree.
