Light Requirements
•    Full sun (6 or more hours of direct sunlight a day) is ideal for cultivation.
•    Tolerates partial shade (2 to 6 hours of direct sunlight part of the day).

Soil Preference
•    Prefers moist, fertile, well-drained soils.
•    Highly adaptable to clay loams, high organic matter, silt loams, and sand textures.
•    Naturally grows in wet habitats like low valleys and stream banks, but can handle occasionally dry conditions once established.
