'Prima' (1216) was bred and selected in Italy. It is the progeny of 'Sunflower' and is proven to be self-fertile.

Fruit: Large; ~8 - 10oz. Fruits have been reported to exceed 16oz. Creamy texture with buttery flesh

Seed: Reported to have low seed-weight

Flavor: Very mild with undertones reminiscent of mango, apricot, banana, and vanilla

Color at ripeness: Greenish-yellow
