'Sunflower' is an old friend among pawpaw breeders. Selected by Mr. Milo Gibson in Kansas. It has produced many excellent offspring including 'Prima' (1216). This cultivar is believed to be self-fertile, though KSU has conflicting information on this. Fruits ripen mid-September through October.
Fruit: Medium-large; ~5.5oz.
